What is UAE Rangers?
UAE Rangers connects people who need help during desert and off-road trips with volunteer rangers nearby. You submit a rescue request with your location and photos, and a volunteer takes the case.
Is this an official emergency service?
No. UAE Rangers is a coordination tool for community volunteers. It is not a governmental, professional or insured rescue organisation, and response times are not guaranteed. In a life-threatening emergency, call 999.
How do I request a rescue?
Open the app and tap “Request rescue?”. Set your location on the map, describe the situation, add photos, review and submit. You can follow the case from your rescue requests.
Can I cancel a request?
Yes. Open the case and choose Cancel Case, then pick a reason, for example that you got out by yourself or someone else helped you.
How do I become a ranger?
You need an account with a verified phone number and at least one registered off-road vehicle. Submit an upgrade request in the app and wait for admin approval. See the full steps.
How do ranks and points work?
Rangers earn points through completed rescue missions. Points unlock ranks, and the leaderboard shows the top rangers for the current month and overall.
Which languages does the app support?
English and Arabic.
How do I delete my account?
In the app go to More, then Personal Details, then Delete Account. See the step-by-step guide.
